How does the site work?

Our site is intuitive and easy to use. Simply upload your files to start editing or converting them online. When finished, download or print your document. You can also share it by email.

Do I need to download or install any software?

No, PDFhint is fully web-based, so there's no need to download or install anything. You can manage your documents from any device right in your browser.

Security and Compliance

Is my payment information safe?

Yes, our site uses advanced SSL encryption to safeguard your data and protect your payment information. We also perform regular security updates as part of our data protection measures.

How long does PDFhint store my documents?

Your documents are available while your subscription is active. If you cancel, you'll continue to have access to your files for 6 months after your service ends. You can also permanently delete any documents at any time.

Are you able to access the content in my files?

No, we cannot access the content in your files. Your documents and folders remain fully private and secure, accessible only to you.

My Account

Why can't I log in to my account?

You might be entering the wrong login details. To reset your password, go to the login page and enter the email you used to create your account. You'll receive an email with instructions to set a new password. If you still cannot log in, please get in touch.

Can I use my account on any device?

Yes, you can use your account on any device. This includes:

  • iPhones
  • iPads
  • Android devices
  • Desktop computers

Editing Files

How do I edit a PDF?

Simply upload your document to our PDF editor tool. You can add notes, highlight text, insert images, draw, or erase. When finished, download or share your updated file.

Can I merge a PDF?

Yes, you can merge PDFs in just a few clicks. Upload your files to our PDF merge tool, make any edits, and click “Merge” to combine them into a single document. Once complete, simply download or share your merged file.

Is my electronic signature legally valid?

Yes, the Electronic Signatures in Global and National Commerce Act (E-Sign Act), signed on June 30, 2000, establishes the legal validity of electronic records and signatures. This applies to transactions that take place interstate or in foreign commerce

Is there a limit to the number of documents I can work on?

No, there’s no limit. You can upload and work on as many documents as you like. Your storage is unlimited, giving you complete flexibility.

Trial and Billing

How does the 7-day trial work?

You can try all of PDFhint’s tools for a week. At the end of the trial, your membership will automatically renew unless you cancel before the trial ends.

When will I be charged?

After 7 days, your account will automatically upgrade to a monthly membership. You’ll be charged for the first 4 weeks, and then subsequent payments will be billed every 4 weeks thereafter.

What payment methods do you accept?

You can pay using your preferred method. We accept all major debit and credit cards, including Visa, MasterCard, and American Express.

Sharing and Sending Documents

Can I share my files?

Yes, your files can be shared via email. Just click “Send Email” and enter the recipient’s email address. They’ll receive an email with a 4-digit code to view the file. If the recipient has a PDFhint account, they can open and edit the file under their own profile.

The document I sent hasn’t arrived. Where is it?

Ask the recipient to check their junk or spam folder, and also review your Sent folder to confirm that the email address was written correctly. If the problem persists, contact your email provider or the recipient’s provider for direct assistance.

Refund and Cancellation

How do I cancel my subscription?

You can cancel your subscription anytime from your account settings. Just select “Cancel Subscription” to end your membership. The cancellation will take effect on your next billing date.

Can I get a refund?

We work to provide the best experience for our customers. If you’re not completely satisfied with our service, please contact us so we can assist you. If you’re still unhappy, we’ll issue a refund, no questions asked.
